These dates are re-issued for every batch
RGUHS re-issues these dates for every batch and every examination, and has revised them mid-cycle before. Open the current circular for your own batch on the examination page before you plan around any date here.

What to submit
Certificates and declarations Clause Template — preliminary pages
- Declaration by the candidate that the work is bonafide and genuine
- Certificate by the guide
- Endorsement by the HOD
- Endorsement by the Principal/Head of the Institution, with seal
- Copyright declaration signed by the candidate
The template states no similarity percentage. Ask your college which plagiarism certificate RGUHS requires for your batch — that is set by circular, not by this document.
How to submit Clause Template — File Format and Labeling on CD
- Soft copy as .doc (MS Word) or PDF
- Images as JPG or TIFF; audio-visual as AVI, GIF or MPEG
- On CD-ROM, labelled with title, subtitle, candidate, degree, subject, guide, department, college, place and year

Easy to get wrong
It is US Letter, not A4 Clause Paper
RGUHS specifies 8½ × 11 inch paper. Word defaults to A4 on most machines sold in India, and changing page size at the end reflows every table and figure. Set it before you start writing.
Double spacing, not 1.5 Clause Spacing
Double spacing through the main text, with single spacing only for long quotations, footnotes and endnotes. That is stricter than several other universities and changes your page count substantially.
Keep the acknowledgment short Clause Acknowledgment
The template's own instruction is four words long: not lengthy, avoid superlatives.
The late fee escalates twice Clause Circular 03.02.2026
In the most recent circular the window was about a month with no fine, then roughly two weeks at ₹1,500, then about nine days at ₹4,000 — after which submission closed.
What these documents do not say
We only publish what the university's own document states. These four are not in it, so this page does not guess at them.
- When the protocol or synopsis must be registered, and what happens if that is late
- The plagiarism similarity limit, and which certificate is required
- How many examiners assess the dissertation, and what happens if they reject it
- Any minimum or maximum page count
Your department, and the RGUHS examination circulars for your batch, are the right place for all four.
Always confirm with your department. Universities issue batch-specific circulars with exact dates and fees, and course regulations can override parts of this regulation. This page summarises the regulation below; it is not an official document.
